Editorial policy
This page explains how the AcademyCue Editorial Team collects facts about providers, how pages are written and checked, and how to report a mistake.
Who writes the pages
Every page is published by the AcademyCue Editorial Team, never under a personal name. We cover online courses, language learning, tutoring, test prep, certifications, audiobooks and ebooks.
Where the facts come from
Facts come from each provider's own website and documents, public registers, affiliate network listings and other published sources, including independent reviews. Each fact on a page shows its source link and the date we checked it. When a provider publishes no country list, its countries come from its affiliate programme listings, and the page says so. Facts we could not confirm are listed as not confirmed, never guessed.
How pages are drafted and checked
Reviews and ranking texts are written from the collected facts and the sources behind them. Before a text is published, automated checks compare every number, licence and regulator it names with the stored facts, and reject claims we cannot trace back to a source. The "Updated" date moves only when a fact or the text changes.
What we do not do
We do not open accounts, deposit money or test products unless a page says so. We do not accept payment for a review verdict. Commissions and sponsored placements are explained in the affiliate disclosure, and how they affect rankings is explained on the methodology page.
Corrections
Spot a mistake? Write to [email protected] with the page and the fact. We check it against the source and correct the page when the source confirms it.
