Pros

  • Support runs on email, chat and phone, which is wider than email alone.

Cons

  • There is no free tier, so the €27 entry fee is the only way in.

What it does well

Heilwissen-Akademie is a curated platform rather than an open marketplace, so the catalogue is small and edited. Courses cover science and run in de. Each course is assessed, which is where it earns its keep: a completion certificate in completion follows a checked piece of work rather than a self declared finish. Access lasts 12 months from purchase, so a learner can sit the course at their own pace inside a fixed window. Buyers who want a refund can rely on a 14 day money-back period, which matches the 14-day median across the site. The trade-off is depth. One subject and one language is a specialist offer rather than a general catalogue.

Where it sits among rivals

On the two measures readers weigh first, the picture is respectable rather than headline grabbing. Starting price ranks 84 of 220 brands compared on that figure, which places Heilwissen-Akademie back in the field rather than near the front. The money-back period ranks 68 of 159, a similar middle placement. In other words, this is a sensible value option on entry cost and a fair performer on refunds. It is not chasing the top of either ranking, and it does not need to: the combination is dependable, and the assessment work and certificate carry the case.

Free plan and trial

There is no free tier here. The cheapest way in is the €27 starting price, so anyone wanting to look before paying has no cost free option on this platform. That makes it the wrong stop for cautious buyers who would rather browse the catalogue at no cost and commit later. The 14 day money-back period softens the risk: a learner who buys and finds the course wrong can ask for a refund inside that window. A refund window is not the same as a free trial, and anyone who wants to browse content at no cost should look at Hotmart, which lists a starting price of $0.

Who runs it

Heilwissen-Akademie is operated from Germany: the legal entity behind it is Rainer Koerner, Heilwissen Verlag, based in Germany. That matters for a German-language science catalogue, because the imprint, refund policy and course pages all sit in one jurisdiction and one language. Support is broader than a bare email address, running on email, chat and phone, so a learner stuck on a course question has phone and chat routes as well as a community. The same imprint also means pricing is quoted in euros rather than dollars or pounds, which affects how it compares with DRCertifications at $19.99 or Academy for Health and Fitness at £25.

How Heilwissen-Akademie compares

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to start a course?+

Entry fees start at €27, which is below the €35.08 site median for starting price. That is a one-off purchase for a single course rather than a subscription. There is no monthly or annual plan listed, so the amount you see is what you commit to.

Is there a free plan or free trial?+

There is no free tier on Heilwissen-Akademie, so nothing is available at no cost before you buy. Buyers who want a no-cost starting point should compare Hotmart, which lists a starting price of $0. The 14 day money-back period is the only low risk route here.

What certificate do I get at the end?+

The certificate type is completion, meaning it records course completion rather than a professional qualification. Assessments are part of the course, so the finish is checked. Learners who need a credit bearing or professional certificate should look elsewhere, since that type is not offered here.

How long do I keep access after paying?+

Access runs for 12 months from the point of purchase. That is a fixed window rather than an open ended subscription, so the course needs to fit inside it. If you expect to take longer than that, plan the start date before you buy.

What language are the courses in?+

Course material is available in de only, and the subject covered is science. That works well for German-speaking learners and poorly for anyone who needs English materials. There is no second language listed to fall back on.

What support can I get if I am stuck?+

Support runs on email, chat and phone, so you can reach the team by phone, chat, email or the community rather than email alone. Phone and chat are the quickest routes for a stuck learner. The operator is Rainer Koerner, Heilwissen Verlag in Germany, which keeps enquiries inside one jurisdiction.

Can I get my money back if the course is not for me?+

The money-back period is 14 days, which matches the 14-day median across the brands compared. That is a reasonable window to decide, but it is shorter than the 360-day seen at the top end. Ask early if you are unsure.

How does the price compare with similar platforms?+

Entry here is €27, against $19.99 at DRCertifications and £25 at Academy for Health and Fitness. The site median for starting price is €35.08. Currencies differ, so compare the amounts rather than assuming one is cheaper.
