Everyday objects as tools
Many techniques in the lessons use objects most people already own, such as newspaper, plastic sheets, sponges, plates and kitchen strainers. Learners practice making skies, pyramids and palette knife effects, while a set of water themed tutorials covers ocean scenes, underwater painting and streams. Cosmic painting also has a place in the library, since galaxies and nebulae offer a wide spread of color for expressive work. Airbrush setup lessons add a separate area for learners who want to explore finer tools.
