Pros and cons

Pros

  • The result is backed by a score guarantee, and the terms cover being admitted or retaken.
  • Live classes sit in the package, and 1to1, group and app covers app study, group work and individual sessions.
  • Tutors are vetted, and the roster counts from 1,000.
  • Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a question can reach a person as well as the help centre.
  • A free trial and a free tier let you look at the material before paying the course fee.

Cons

  • Entry cost sits well above the drivers-ed set, where the median is €19.98 against €1,250 for the Corso Semestre Filtro BASIC.
  • Offline download is marked no, so the material needs a live connection.
  • The refund window is 14 days, shorter than the 30-day median for the drivers-ed set.
  • Cancellations need 24 hours notice, and the satisfaction refund applies only if the tutoring is switched on in the opening lesson hours.

Who it suits

  • Italian candidates for medicine, dentistry and veterinary entrance, the exams the Corso Semestre Filtro BASIC is built around.
  • Learners who want the provider behind the result, since the guarantee covers being admitted or retaken.
  • People who prefer company while studying, with live classes plus the formats in 1to1, group and app.

Who should look elsewhere

  • US traffic-school shoppers: DriverEdToGo at $19 or I Drive Safely at $19 cost a fraction of the Corso Semestre Filtro BASIC.
  • Anyone who studies on trains or flights, since Drivers Ed at $20 suits buyers who do not need an app-led course that cannot be downloaded.

What it does well

Live classes are part of the course rather than a paid extra, and the formats in 1to1, group and app cover app study, group sessions and individual teaching. A free trial lets you sit in before you commit to the course fee, and a tutoring addon is available for candidates who want more hours with a person. If the material does not suit you, the terms allow a refund within 14 days.

Free plan and trial

A free tier and a free trial are both offered, so you can open the platform and work through material before paying anything. Purchases are covered by a refund window of 14 days, which gives a buyer a defined period to decide whether the course is right.

Who runs it

The provider is Testbusters S.r.l. Societa Benefit, registered in Italy, and the company has worked in exam preparation since 2011. Courses are built for IT. Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so help reaches a person by phone or email as well as through the help centre and community.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Testbusters cost?+

Testbusters prices the Corso Semestre Filtro BASIC at €1,250, which covers medicine, dentistry and veterinary entrance. Private tutoring is charged on top from €25.83 per lesson, so the final spend depends on how much individual teaching you add. No annual or subscription price is listed.

Is there a free trial or a free plan?+

Yes. A free trial and a free tier are both offered, so you can open the material and work through questions before paying. If you do buy, a refund window of 14 days applies from the purchase. That is the practical way to size up the course before committing.

Does Testbusters guarantee a pass?+

The score guarantee reads pass, and the terms are short: admitted or retaken. That puts the provider behind the outcome rather than selling practice material alone. Live classes are included, and a tutoring addon is available for candidates who want more individual time before the exam.

Where is Testbusters available?+

Testbusters runs in Italy, and the company is registered in Italy. The courses are written around Italian university entrance exams for medicine, dentistry and veterinary study, so the questions and the paper format are tied to that admissions test rather than to another country's version of it.

How do the lessons and tutors work?+

Lessons are offered in the formats listed in 1to1, group and app, and live classes are part of the package rather than an extra. The tutor roster counts from 1,000, and tutors are vetted before they teach, which matters for a course that ends in a real exam result.

What support is there if something goes wrong?+

Support runs on email, phone and help centre, so a question can go to a person by phone or email, or land in the help centre and community. Cancellations need 24 hours notice. The tutoring service also carries a satisfaction promise, returning the full tutoring amount if it is switched on in the opening lesson hours.

Can I get my money back?+

Yes, within limits. Purchases sit inside a 14 days refund window, shorter than the 30-day median refund period in the drivers-ed set. The tutoring service has its own satisfaction promise, returning the full tutoring amount when it is activated in the opening lesson hours.

How does the price compare with cheaper driving courses?+

This is the trade-off to weigh. The Corso Semestre Filtro BASIC is listed at €1,250, while the median entry price in the drivers-ed ranking is €19.98. DriverEdToGo starts at $19, Drivers Ed at $20 and I Drive Safely at $19, so Testbusters buys far more than a single driving test.

Can I download the material for offline use?+

Offline download is marked no, so the app and web material expect a live connection. That matters if you travel or sit the exam somewhere with poor signal, and it is worth asking about before you buy. The formats in 1to1, group and app are all online, and a live session can be changed with 24 hours notice.
