Core features

You can buy or reserve books and then collect them through your chosen neighbourhood shop. Browsing covers many subjects, from biography and earth sciences to technology, lifestyle and family stories. Discovery tools include recommendations from bookshops, recent arrivals and a ranking of the one hundred most sold titles. Shops also publish reading clubs, talks and presentations tied to their programmes.

Subject breadth

The range is arranged across many subject areas, from biography and literary studies to earth sciences, computing, engineering and outdoor sports. Puzzle books, nature and animal titles, European and East Asian traditions, and literary adaptations sit beside crime, mystery and suspense. Comics and children's books appear among the categories, so one catalogue serves adult and younger readers. Each title comes through a neighbourhood bookshop that carries its own local stock, which keeps the selection rooted in community shops.
